Steel square tube (also known as square hollow section / SHS) is a hollow structural section manufactured from steel strip that is cold-formed into shape and welded along the seam. Our galvanized steel square tube offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio and is ideal for structural and aesthetic applications where flat surfaces are needed.
Qiaosi Steel supplies two main types: pre-galvanized — economical for indoor use with uniform zinc coating; and hot-dip galvanized (HDG) — maximum corrosion protection for outdoor and harsh environments.
Square (SHS): 20×20 mm to 200×200 mm — Wall thickness 1.0 – 10.0 mm
Rectangular (RHS): 30×20 mm to 200×100 mm — Wall thickness 1.5 – 8.0 mm
Standards: ASTM A500 / EN 10219 / GB/T 6728 / JIS G3466.
